What is Advertising?
Advertising is the techniques and practices used to bring products, services, opinions, or causes to public notice for the purpose of persuading the public to respond in a certain way toward what is advertised.
Advertisements include television commercials, movie trailers, radio ads, magazine ads, newspaper ads, signs, posters, online ads, animated ads, social media ads, flyers, direct mail, and much more.
Advertising design is intended to introduce and promote brands, products, services, events, groups, social causes, or ideas.
An advertising design solution can promote, persuade, provoke, inform, identify, motivate, enhance, organize, rouse, locate, or engage.
A design solution can be so effective that it influences behavior: you may choose a product because you are attracted to the design of its package, or you may donate money after viewing a public service advertisement.
Advertising provides information and choices to the public. Advertising is used to promote one product, service, or event over another.
Advertising Design
Ads are created for a specific audience; a message is intentionally designed, transmitted, and then receive by viewers.
Ads promote products, services, businesses, groups, companies, ideas, or social causes.
Ads grab the audience’s attention, communicate a message, and inform the audience something they did not know.
Ads try to sell something, persuade people to action, or motivate a behavior.
Ads outline the practical or useful characteristics of a product or service and explains why you should choose a particular brand instead of its competition.
Ads often try to persuade people that a brand will make them happier, healthier, richer, more attractive, or make life easier.
Ads need to be attractive, seductive, and interesting, or no one is going to pay attention to them.
