Congratulations to the Lady Rams' tennis team for their outstanding performance at the Mid Penn Tournament this past weekend. Winning first place in 2nd doubles were Valerie Shreffler and Rachel Sternberg. Placing 2nd in first doubles were Rachel Brosius and Kelly Gillaspy. In a tough semi-final match, Lauren McNair lost a great match to the #2 player from Cumberland Valley. Lexi Owens lost in a playback match for a fifth spot in district singles' play. Today Lexi and Lauren will be playing for a spot in the district doubles tournament to be held Oct. 19th.

The Lady Rams tennis team finished their regular season with wins over Lower Dauphin, Susquehanna Township, and Northern High School to finish with a record of 14-1. This weekend they will participate in the individual Mid Penn tournament at Gettysburg. The following week they will enter the team District tournament which gets underway on Friday, October 12th. The team members are Lexi Owens, Lauren McNair, Julia Sternberg, Rachel Brosius, Kelly Gillaspy, Valerie Shreffler, and Rachel Sternberg. Please wish them good luck.

The JV tennis team is now 12-0 with their victory over Susquehanna yesterday. Individual winners were Caroline Rubin, Amanda Neidig, and Emily McGraw playing singles. Also winning were Jumee Kim, Ana Englebright, Elle Mellot, and Olivia Mountain playing doubles.

The Lady Rams tennis team upped their record to 11-1 by defeating State College High School on Friday 4-1. Recording singles wins were Lauren McNair and Julia Sternberg. Winning at #1 and 2 doubles were Rachel Brosius and Kelly Gillaspy and Valerie Shreffler and Rachel Sternberg. Come out and see the girls play their final home match of the season on Thursday at 3:30.

The Lady Rams tennis team boosted their record to 10-1 with a 3-2 win over Carlisle on Wednesday. Earning singles' wins were Lauren McNair and Julia Sternberg and winning the deciding point were Valerie Shreffler and Rachel Sternberg in the second doubles match. Come out today and see the girls take on State College in their final Commonwealth Division home match starting at 3:30. It should be a good one!

Congratulations to the Girls JV Tennis Team for their well fought victory over Carlisle yesterday. Individual winners were Emily McGraw, Jumee Kim and Ana Englebright. Also winning was the player of the match, Amanda Neidig, who played on Court 2 and came through to secure the Team Victory. The girls are now 10-0!

Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team for their 5-0 win over Gettysburg. Singles winners were Lexi Owens, Lauren McNair, and Julia Sternberg. Winning in doubles were Rachel Brosius and Kelly Gillaspy at 1st doubles and Valerie Shreffler and Rachel Sternberg at 2nd doubles. The team record is 8-1. Great job girls
