Congratulations for a fantastic showing this weekend by our divers here at CD. Placing 3rd in districts and earning a spot at States is our own Matt Mullen. Also earning a spot at States and placing 2nd in districts is Rachael McCormick. Great job divers and good luck at states.

CD Swimming and Diving News (Posted 2-13-2012)

Congratulations to our mens and womens swim team for their outstanding finishes at this year’s Mid Penns. With the toughest conference in the state we had many place finishers. Individually, Grant Owens came away with a 3rd and a 4th place finish while Mike Senyak also saw the podium with an 8th place finish. In the relays, Grace Tomolavage, Heidi Deichmiller, Ally Miller, and Keri Tkatch teamed up for an 8th place finish while the boys relay of Grant Owens, Mike Senyak, Luke Mcguire, Montana Naccarato, and Matt Gelespi teamed up for an impressive 5th place finish. Good luck to our swimmers as they head off for districts in 3 weeks.

CD Swimming and Diving News (Posted 2-9-2012)

Congratulations to our female divers for their impressive show at last nights Mid Penn diving champs. Racheal McCormick earned a 4th place overall but a strong 3rd place in triple A. With the score of a 419 she broke our own school record and qualified for this years district meet. Becca Beachler finished 6th and Ellie Rosen finished 11th. All 3 girls will be diving in 3 weeks in the districts. Good luck ladies.

Congratulations to Matt Mullen for his impressive 2nd place finish at this years Mid Penn Championships. With a score of 405, Matt broke the 16 year old School record and with his high finish qualifies him for this years district meet in 3 weeks.

CD Swimming and Diving News (Posted 2-6-2012)

Congratulations to our swim team for finishing off a great season. Both teams featured a 7 and 3 record. Last week the lady rams demolished Mechanicsburg by 40 points. Led by Sophomore Casey Stump and senior Grace Tomolavage, the girls won 8 of the 11 races. Wins also recorded by Keri Tkatch and Marrissa Schaffer. The boys fell in a close battle losing by 2 points. Top ten records were set by Grant Owens and Luke McGuire. Montana Nacarato also supplied a victory. Good luck to our swimmers as they head into the championship season which begins this Saturday with Mid Penn champs.

CD Swimming and Diving News (Posted 1-27-2012)

CD swim team took down Chambersburg last night with a score of 94-92. With key victories from Grant Owens, Montana Nacarato, and Luke McGuire the boys were able to take the meet into the last relay down by 4. With a 1-3 punch in the last event, the boys pulled out the 2 point victory. Key points for the victory were also pulled in by Kyle Miller and Zac Ruth. The girls had some good swims but came up short by 10.The teams last meet will be against Mechanicsburg next Thursday.

Congratulations to two CD divers, Matt Mullen and Rachel McCormick. By placing 5th, Rachel recorded the best finish by a female diver in over 15 years and with Matt placing 8th vaulted him to the best finish in CD history. Good luck to all of our divers as they move on to Mid Penns in 2 weeks.

Congratulations to the boys and girls swim team for their double victory over CD East and Cedar Cliff. The boys were led by victories from Tiras Kelly, Grant Owens, Luke Mcguire and Mike Senyak. For the girls, victories were brought home by Grace Tomolavage, Keri Katch, and Marrissa Schaffer.

Also bringing home victories were divers Matt Mullen and Racheal McCormick. Currently Racheal is undefeated in the district. Congrats divers.

Congratulations to our boys and girls swim team for posting their 3rd straight victory. The girls meet was a close battle. Coming down to the last event the girls edged Carlisle 87-61. Posting 3 victories for the Rams was Grace Tomolavage. On the boys side, the Rams came away with a slaughtering of the herd. With a 101-59 victory the boys moved to 3-0 with 4 first places by Luke McGuire and Grant Owens followed by 3 victories by Montana Naccarato.

CD Swimming and Diving News (Posted 12-12-2011)

Congrats to the CD Mens Swim Team for a land slide victory in Dover on Saturday. Finishing 1st out of 18 teams, the Rams outscored 2nd place Spring Grove by 80 points. Leading the Rams with 4 victories was Grant Owens supported with good swims by Junior Nacarato, Sophomore Senyak and Freshman Tiras Kelly.
