Exploring Technology Education Course Outline
This course is designed to introduce ninth grade students to the Central Dauphin School District’s Technology Education program. Students are given a glimpse into the variety of courses offered at the high school in the areas of engineering, technical and digital design, animation, architecture, robotics, and manufacturing. Technological evolution, digital design, material fabrication, and engineering-problem solving concepts will be covered. This half-year course will help students decide which future classes will help them reach their career and personal goals. No prerequisite. Limited to grade 9 only.
